Version: Kaspersky Online Virus Scanner
"Please dont mislead!"
Pros: Like any online scanner maybe a little better? But still not a solution im afraid!
Cons: As it says by kaspersky Co scanner site; The free Kaspersky Online Scanner does not scan boot sectors and MBRs, so it cannot detect malicious code located in these areas.
Please note: The free Kaspersky Online Scanner does not protect against malicious code, and cannot prevent future infections. It only detects malware that has already penetrated your computer. We strongly recommend that you install a full antivirus solution to protect your system.

Thank you for all details, for describing what all it does. All details are important even though is time consuming in doing so but I surely do appreciate it. I like to do the same for others as well, because just saying yes is good isn't enough for me.. I like to know exactly what is so good about it..& why. Communication is such a big part, & with out it we would be lost.. Anyways, I've said all & more..LOL! Thanks to All & Have A Great One!!

It is not a anti virus. It is a scanner to make it easy for people to decide if their (free etc.) antivirus really works or not. Windows viruses really need realtime and heuristics checking programs, they aren't that simple. You should get the full versions trial if you want to see how real Kaspersky is.
