Version: Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0.0.125
"Don't bother"
Pros: Nothing, read below
Cons: I use Revo uninstaller to uninstall all my programs. After trying out the trial version of this, I uninstalled with Revo. After My computer froze for about 3min, I finally did a hard boot, and logged back into windows. The windows xp boot screen was telling me that Kaspersky was still installed, even after the uninstall. Nothing also, that this "program" destroyed system restore, I finally decided to reformat, and start from scratch. There are better security programs out there, and this one does not cut it.
Summary: null
Updated on Feb 14, 2009calintzkyezac,
Download and install this, and then uninstall this yourself, and tell me if you've had the same problem. Secondly, my knowledge of computer software is NOT shallow, as you say;and third, I could not install a registry cleaner, since my computer froze. That is why I did a hardboot. And to tomwa53, I think I hear your mommy calling you.

First mistake, you used a custom uninstaller(the biggest mistake)
2nd mistake, you try to uninstall it after you uninstalled it? You should repair it first using Kapersky installer(or maybe reinstall it on the other word)
3rd mistake, why you didn't use a registry cleaner after you have made a hard boot on your PC? It might came out a better way of resolving this issue.
Conclusion: Your knowledge on computer software is pretty shallow. You should ask somebody who know better about computer software if you encounter a problem like this one in the future. And don't use any uninstaller anymore!! Its only damaging you system. If you want a cleaner way to uninstall a program, uninstall it normally then use a registry cleaner to clean the traces(use the EasyCleaner, its free). I'm sorry if I use a harsh word because I'm pretty annoyed when you posting a bad review about this Kaspersky AV. It actually a good software you know. Anyway, why do you want to uninstall it on the 1st place? It makes me wonder...
