"One of the 3 best compressors out there"

    April 17, 2013  |   By HeylonNHP

    Extremely high compression ratios.
    Easy to use.

Very resource intensive, meaning it's quite slow even on my 3.1 Ghz processor.

This compression software seems to be able to produce the worlds best compression on certain file types. It works extremely well for Microsoft office documents. It also works extremely well for quite a few other file types.

The only compressor that comes close is UHARC, or WinUHA (Which uses UHARC). UHARC is quite a fair bit faster, and will beat KGB on a few files. 7-Zip is a faster alternative to UHARC and will again, beat it on some file types, however it is quite rare for files under 100 MB.

KGB is slow and very resource intensive, however I do recommend you download it along side with WinUHA(UHARC) and 7-Zip for ultimate file compression on every file on the computer.
