"Missed the Boat On It All"

Pros
Yes, you can find out about travel and other information with these apps.
Cons
But, have you mentioned if a visually impaired person got one for Christmas how they would use it. That's where the boat was missed and you seem to miss it all the time.
Summary
Yes, the Kayak and the facebook and the whatnot is good, but, you are still missing the boat. What if a senior citizen or someone loosing vision or someone who has a visual problem got one. Are you aware, that screen magnification and screen reading apps in these devices could benefit everyone. How about doing some research on that and talking about that technology in a CNET column. It would make other readers aware that such technology exists.
Oh and by the way, SIRI as in the Iphone 4s is not all that it is cut out to be. I tried it with one of my relative's phone, as she got one for Christmas.
Oh and did I forget, she has to pay for a data plan once a month on top of her basic calling with it.
