"BEST SECURITY EVER DO BUY IT"
Version: K7 Total Security 10.0
Pros
I have been using this product from last 1 year. It is one the best product I have ever used. My Laptop is working absolutely fine and the main PROS is that it blocks me from visiting unwanted sites and it keeps my laptop 100% smooth. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT ALL
Cons
there are no drawbacks
Summary
Don't go for Kaspersky,Norton, etc, they are too costly and also keeps your system overloaded. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ALL OF YOU.

"Atlast I have found a tool that works !!!"
Version: K7 Total Security 10.0
Pros
Cleaned all viruses left out by other tools. The local update server feature saves my bandwidth. Occupies very low system resource. Telephone support was good.
Cons
So far so good, I will update when I come across one.
Summary
I often had problem with newfolder and conflicker virus, which our previous tool didnt even detect. These guys release multiple updates per day so my network stays clean. The local update server feature is great, helps me update one system over internet and others through it. Great tool for the price.

"Suspiciously refused to uninstall. I suggest AVOID!"
Version: K7 Total Security 10.0
Pros
Did not see any.
Cons
I installed this program due to the reviews above. I don't know what to think of those reviewers now. When I tried to uninstall K7, it simply refused to uninstall or allow deletion of files - I eventually had to employ drastic solutions.
Summary
No program that behaves in such a way can possibly be legit. I strongly suggest avoidance.
Correction required to the above review, but no apology. The malware hijacked K7's files, preventing them from being uninstalled or deleted. Pretty disgraceful for an anti-virus program, but to be fair to K7, it's done it to every major anti-virus/malware/spyware program I've tried....

When I click on the stars to upgrade rating to 2/5, I get taken to a rating page for SecureCRT. This is some weird crap, CNET. -

"So and so protection!"
Version: K7 Total Security 10.0
Pros
The method of updates are best.It can be interrupted any time and continue with the ended! The costumer support is amazing. Less in cost.
Cons
The Firewall protection is worst and can be easily turned off. The parental control's can be fooled.Bad interface. Resource hungry! Reaches up to 120 MB consumption at scans and the slow down can be identified.
Summary
The product can be used for basic protection for every thing it covers. Not better than Avast!

"The best security suite i've ever used."
Version: K7 Total Security 10.0
Pros
Effective, easy to use and light on the pocket! I've finally found a security product i'm satisfied with and will stick with it.
Cons
None whatsoever. I've never been so satisfied with my computers security.
Summary
Great all-round security that covers all the bases. Security suites can often be a pain to configure to your liking but K7 was actually quite fun and easy. It has an intuitive and easy to navigate interface and a fantastic Help section which is actually very helpful, well written, easy to understand and only one click to get the help you need when you need it. Cheaper than most of the big names (Norton, Kaspersky etc) and highly configurable. Good for novices and advanced users alike. Novices can just set and forget with the default recommended (typical) settings.
