"Lightning Fast/Streamlined/Smart Browser"

Pros
This is an extremely fast and smartly designed browser that is streamlined in design and in function. It's based on the rendering engine of Mozilla and is free (open source), so it's always improving.
Cons
Not as pretty or customizable as Firefox or some other browsers. But that's the point-- it works fast, I believe, becasue it doesn't have the bloat of add-ons. Although you can import bookmarks from other browsers.
Summary
I use this as a supplement to Firefox, when I want to surf fast. It has built-in mail and feed readers, web page translation, multiple profiles and other nifty features. Firefox is my favorite for its customization options, but K-Meleon is built for speed and is an excellent overall browser.

Clean, simple and very fast. it's great that ad blocker plus ( a firefox add on) is now compatible.
Cons
May not be for you if your into a bunch of firefox add ons. ( just run both of them like I do.)

What a seriously brilliant little browser!
Lightweight, fast, easy to use, tabbed. Take a moment to download and try it. If you can drive Firefox and IE7, you'll drive this one easily. Take it for a quick spin and see for yourself.
Less crashes. Easier to get from A to B, and faster. Easy load, easy to use, fast exit. This is what you want in a browser; superior to Maxathon and its clones.
This is my main browser at home because it's so simple, light, easy.
Cons
I hate the icon. Everyone asked, "What's the little alligator?" when they saw the icon on my desktop. Fortunately, icons are easily changed.

I started using this browser recently.It shows excellent performance.Simple and fast loading.Very easy to configure,secure as it is based on Gecko(Firefox).Since, AOL is discontinuing support to Netscape Navigator from 1st March,'08, those who use Netscape Navigator can switch over to K-Meleon Browser and those who do not like IE can also try this.
Cons
I did not find option to disable/enable Java & Java script.(Java script is seen enabled by default).This may cause security problems.I hope they may give necessary updates.

"Fast, Clean but doesn't support everything FireFox does"

Pros
Fast browser that seems to have less freeze ups than FireFox. Wife's online games run lots faster & with far less problems. Pages load fast but occassionally & rarely, some don't load correctly, but are at least still there. Doesn't support some e-mail functions or RoboForm. I can't seem to import bookmarks, but not really too important. I prefer it now for most things over FireFox, but I still use FireFox ocasionally.

A nice fast browser that doesn't bog itself down with anything more than just what's needed for surfing the web.
You can check RSS feeds in it as well, which is a bonus if you don't already have an RSS reader.
Cons
A little TOO simple. Things are done in an "old school" kind of fashion with this browser even though it's not that old.

I ended up going to sourceforge to get the binary because my cnet download failed to finish twice. So I got version 1.1 which works better than firefox 1.5.12. Firefox seemed to lock me up if I opened more than a couple of tabs. K-meleon lets me keep as many tabs as I want open. And it works in win95!
Cons
Not as many themes are available as Firefox has. Sometimes the display is left in a scrambled in-between state which I can usually recover from.

"Really excellent browser - try it!"

Pros
Very very fast - only Avant Browser (Trident-based) is faster. AJAX handling second to none. Page rendering is an absolute revelation - faster and more accurate than any browser I've tried. Loads of customisation option.
Cons
Not all the options are immediately obvious, and some things can only be done by editing the config files - not difficult, but not for everyone. People addicted to Firefox extensions won't find them here, but then K-Meleon can do most things without them.
