  Thanks for giving the REAL URL to download K-Lite. What happens to many people who find malware is that they are victimized by third-party add-ons. I have never had a problem with K-Lite over many years of use, and I always go directly to the developer web site to find a reliable download site - the most reliable download sources being those listed on the developer's website. I don't use websites that tack on additional software to the developer's programs (and often attempt to change your homepage and default search engine). When installing software, look at all those little checkboxes. It's annoying, but that's where they get you. If there's a option in the installation program to change "expert" settings (the wording varies and the print is small), USE IT, or you may find yourself with sveral unwanted programs and Bubba's House O' Web Searches as your search engine. Finally, use protection - antivirus, antimalware and a firewall, and always keep it up-to-date.
