"Five stars for a five star program"

by RichardV on March 17, 2005

Pros: I love it. I imported all of my recruiters, employers, and networking contacts without a hitch. Very easy to use once you get the hang of it. I have to say I've grown fond of jobtabs. Whats good about this application is it is very realistic about the job outlook and what you have to do to make it happen. I think there are a lot of people mulling around out there that don't know what they need to do to get with it. JobTabs provides an objective perspective that will provide a breath of fresh air to any job search.

I never give reviews on software, but given the importance of getting a job and all of the people I know that are looking I have to say that I am doing this out of public service. Great application and I recommend it across the board. Good luck on your job search.

    "Well written and clean"

by elliswald on March 13, 2005

Pros: Well thought out and organized. The software does what all independent contractors do but don't want to confess to. Mainly the many resumes needed to morph our experience to the requisition at hand. I have 17 seperate resumes each of which present me as an expert in this capacity or that. Its not that I'm not good in all 17 areas, its just that you can't say, "I'm highly proficient in 17 areas." You have to say, "I am an expert in Accounts Receivable", or "I'm an expert in Project Management". It is the nature of the business. While expert is a bit ingratiating, I consider myself more than competent in these areas. My problem is keeping track of whether I am Dr. Jeckyl or Mr. Hyde and with who. Hence, the need for Mr. JobTabs. Program is nicely put together and apparently written by some battle hardened contractors.

    "Excellent"

by ToHechtWithIt on March 24, 2005

Pros: A program that finally makes me feel like I'm in control of the contracting aspect of the business. Can't stand the in between time of contracting and this app has already made the going much smoother.

"An outstanding product that empowers the individual job seeker"

by KTel on March 21, 2005

Pros: This is an outstanding product that has identified a hugh hole in the job search arena. As an individual job seeker I feel like I have been reduced to a poker chip vis-a-vis the employers and recruiters. I am very passionate about this because, I believe that I am good at what I do. To have to pound the pavement as hard as I do is ridiculous, but there are so many other people that are competing for the jobs it is difficult to feel like you're getting any visibility. Now, I feel like I get it. I know what is going on and what I have to do to stay ahead of the curve. The program has done a great job of laying out a clean application and painting a VERY realistic picture of the players in the job search space and I am grateful to them.

    - Kenny Tellis

Cons: The only con is that I can only give this program 5 stars. It deserves 10.
