Version: Jetico Personal Firewall 2.0.0.23 beta
"A quality firewall for intermediate/advanced users, not recommended for newbies"
Pros: One of the firewalls with superior outbound protection. Has traffic monitor to see everything going in and out of your net connection.
Cons: Its GUI. Quite hard to understand and a not to use for newbies. Beginners should use other firewalls with easy to understand GUI+good performance.

Version: Jetico Personal Firewall 2.0.0.23 beta
"I can recommend this product but not a set and forget."
Pros: Works fine, uses a small amount of resources, yet gives you the protection proven in the leak tests with most of the features found on the name brands. Has the living graphs and keeps the log. Keeps out the nasties.
Cons: Oh the lack of instructions and strangly worded control panel will prove a challenge for the even the most experienced expert.
What for instance is the difference between apply changes automaticly and automaticly save changes? On the default only the second one is checked, they both should be. If you like a good mystery it works. Still very intrusive with repeat pop up questions.
It works with my Wifi network while Zone Labs and some of the others did not. Free Net veda ran out after a year and refused to allow me to resubscribe.

Version: Jetico Personal Firewall 2.0.0.23 beta
"I prefer a Hacker to this ''Firewall''"
Pros: The wise guys says this firewall is not for 'novice' users. Well, I have tried and tested every firewall I could find but I find this one totally unworkable. I couldn't get my email programs or any of my browsers to work at all no matter what I did. I received endless pop ups asking for permission for Firefox to access the internet using different ports even after I had closed Firefox and killed the process. It crashed few times for unknown reasons and the list goes on, and to add insult to injury this Firewall is not even 'FREE' as it says... I am going back to Zone Alarm Pro which I consider the best there is. Firewall defense is not only leak tests, it's a lot more than that and ZoneAlarm Pro outperformed Jetico (and Comodo Pro) in most of them.
Cons: This Firewall shouldn't be tested by people with high blood pressure.

Version: Jetico Personal Firewall 2.0.0.23 beta
Pros: Very good ad blocking in page ads. Easy to install and configure. The tech support is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: 1. Causes invalid fault errors in Windows 98SE.
2. Looses settings on exit.
3. Assumes you know every portion of a web page- and who they're linked to for the ad-blocking feature. A nice idea, but totally unrealistic for ad heavy sites. And blocking the wrong thing can cause a page to disply incorrectly...
4. Can freeze the program or lock your system up when turned off.

Version: Jetico Personal Firewall 2.0.0.23 beta
Pros: For once a firewall that does'nt nuke my Pc unlike Zone-Alarm (a total disaster, had to reinstall my OS) or Comodo (would'nt let me access the net, great) and scores great on the test of different firewalls (go to matousec.com and click on firewalls ratings). Anyway a great firewall and I've tried them all (worst ones, Norton and Zone Alarm)
Cons: the myriad promptings the first 4 days, but after that it settles down
