"great product, but with not-so-good user interface"

u can set everything and how they behave toward network, from web browser to ftp client program,
for novice user, dont worry, this software came automaticly with a mode called "learning mode" so it can learn by observing (lot of asking permission) the way u use your network. but i think advanced user will set everything by themselves.
bottom line is: this product is for user who like to control everything.
Cons
-confusing user interface.
-when the software is/still in learning mode, they ask permision very frequently.
n this is very annoying.
-you have to read the help seriously if u want to know exactly how this firewall work n fully costumize the setting.after u understand, then your networking is in your own hand.

JPF passes intrusion tests. All attacks are detected. Good.
Cons
Requires time to understand it's inner workings. It rewards in future, but not for those wishing to have firewall up and running in 10 minutes.

installed sweet n runs fine. asked about every browser/network activity until it realizes your activities.. has 2 little skimpy green arrows in taskbar showing upload/download signals.
ive ditched mcafee firewall now as that corrupts 2 much ;)

(to some users) Spooky screen once installed as ya not 2 sure whether you really do need to adjust anything!(which u dont).. you shud pay 4 this program its 2 gud. and i think this is a spin off from sygate!
