"Fantastic program sorter"
Version: JetToolBar 3.8.1.5021
Pros
While being an older program, (Pre Vista), I have been using jetoolbar since the advent of Windows XP. It has always been my guide to sorting programs for categories like: accounting, MS Office, Multimedia, Internet Selections, Reference, Law.
Cons
The user interface hasn't change since before 2001 and is stale in light of Vista Aero and Windows 7. Now that Windows 8 is coming, it would be nice if the vendor would update its look.
Summary
Great for sorting multiple pieces of software used in an intensive business environment.

"Good solid application that does the job."
Version: JetToolBar 3.8.1.5021
Pros
Fully manageable subject areas and for adding various applications to the subject areas.
Cons
Instructions are somewhat sketchy; icons are not always changeable.
Summary
This application is one of the best add-ons available for the desktop. It does what it claims to do and is fairly easy to configure.

"Wouldn't work properly for me"
Version: JetToolBar 3.8.1.5021
Pros
It's a good idea in theory
Cons
It stays open, you can't hide it, only to the system tray which then opens a reduced form. On my laptop, I had to click an arrow twice to see all contents of Control Panel or Desktop. My chosen hotkey didn't work. More Cons follow in Summary.
Summary
Takes up too much of your screen - unticking Position On Top option didn't work. Place it on side of screen, then it reduces usable width of screen, while names on tags are sideways. Finally, it slowed some of my things right down, for example Word 2007 took twice as long to open as usual. All in all, too much hassle.

"Worked and Then Stopped"

It worked for a few hours before it stopped showing itself and then freezing.

"I like it very much - only one complaint"
Version: JetToolBar 3.8.1.5021
Pros
easy to use - everything available on desktop
Cons
The only thing I don't like is that the Internet button will not access my Outlook Express which would be very handy. Is there a fix for this?

"Practical and functional"
Version: JetToolBar 3.8.1.5021
Pros
It's simple, with an easy to use interface. It allows for multiple rows, and allows you to reshape and easily add tabs and items. It has a reliable hot key function, and you can choose to access by visible launcher window or by popup window. Mostly works very smoothly.
Cons
It isn't attractive, though that doesn't matter to me. My biggest beef is that you can't set it to launcher window without having it automatically open. You can hide it, but every time you switch windows, it will reappear. It also has an annoying bug that causes the window to resize to default size when you make certain adjustments to it.

"A great time saver, try it...you will like it"
Version: JetToolBar 3.8.1.5021
Pros
Quick and easy access to the files you need. I'm on the net and need note pad...it's just one click away, then it's out of the way(when you use the auto-hide)
Best of all it set's-up it's self up for you, then you can custom it from there to suite your needs, such as, makeing your owen file tabs and placeing whatever files in it. Works great, it's FREE, found NO problems with it.
Cons
none...... so get this one and make your life a bit smoother.

"Nice solid configurable toolbar, and not much else"
Version: JetToolBar 3.8.1.5021
Pros
Solid, configurable, create as many categories as you want, add as many apps as you want, and all configurable via drag and drop or menu, hides when you don't need it. And it's free.
Cons
Lacks color-coding of categories, lacks flashier graphics such as OS X's menu style, lack of any "thrills" and other "cool" features.

"This program will regain desktop realestate"
Version: JetToolBar 3.8.1.5021
Pros
I like this space saving utility, giving me more desktop realestate is a big plus, I gave it three stars for this alone.
Cons
I think objectdock, a similar program, looks slicker and is more configurable also if you add on the free downloadable docklets, bacgrounds and icons it beats jet toolbar hands down. Also it only draws about 7 mb on my system in ram optimized mode just like jet toolbar no contest.
