"Just Brilliant"
Version: JetPhoto Studio 5.2
Pros
Geo tagging seems excellent & accurate, quality of edits seems high as does ease of use
Cons
Only con I can really see is that slideshows are not as configurable as could be but that's a small "con"
Summary
Excellent free software, not "disabled" after a few photos & an overall great release.

"Exactly what I needed, and free!"
Version: JetPhoto Studio 3.1
Pros
Very easy to add a watermark image to an image. Does a lot of other stuff that I didn't even know I needed but use all the time now.
Cons
It doesn't have advanced image manipulation features, but that's not what I expected or was looking for.
Summary
Given the low number of downloads and no comments, I thought this would be really poor software, but it's the exact opposite. It's a quality application.

"Not For Me"
Version: JetPhoto Studio 3.1
Pros
Not too hard to get used to, but too many "bells & whistles" for me.
Cons
It was too precise for me. I wanted a program with fewer options.
Summary
I just wanted a program to be able to dump all my photos into and have them all adjusted at once. I found PictureScaler and used that program instead.

"Good product, especially for older hardware."

After using Picasa on an older 1.3 ghz Athlon, I was disappointed by iPhoto 4's sluggish performance on my G4 466 Digital Audio tower w/ 1 GB RAM (yes, I realize my Mac is pretty slow by today's standards). I though I might find something faster iPhoto for browsing my growing collection of approximately 4000 digital images. So far, JetPhoto feels a little snappier. Sure, it's not as feature rich as iPhoto or Picasa (although there are probably some pretty cool things that can be done with the complimentary server app) but for basic thumbnail browsing on older hardware, it seems pretty good so far. I can't vouch for stability yet. It's going on the Pismo next...that should be an even better test of speed on older hardware. -

This is a very nice app, especially for free, but RAW support would make it great. -

"Awesome"

This is one of the slickest, most professional pieces of Mac software I've ever used, bar none. Its responsiveness is superb, especially in view of iPhoto's sluggishness. Its interface is beautiful and generally elegant. The calendar thingie is way cool; you click on a date and all photos taken on that date are highlighted. Brilliant. It would be much more useful, though, if you could select more than one date or a range of dates at a time. The slideshows have transitions, and there's a Flash generator and a mobile phone formatter that I haven't messed with yet.
The documentation is extensive and complete, despite its having been obviously written by folks whose first language is not English. Server setup is a bit scary and complex at first; I had to find and install a new PHP suite to get "GD" enabled, whatever that is, but once it's set up it's solid. It's not real friendly to locally-hosted sites since all file transfers to the server must be done via FTP; there is no provision for simply saving the files locally and bypassing FTP altogether, which would be nice. It also defaults, for its "local server" settings, to the user website directory ~/Sites/ which is annoying for someone who uses the main site /Library/Web Server/Documents. There's a "favorites" menu though, so it's no big deal.
My main gripe is the difficulty of user-customization of the displayed web pages - one has to dig into php scripts. While the provided templates are beautiful and very professional-looking, doing something simple like changing what metadata is displayed for each image is a project unto itself. The program needs a GUI like those in Photosite Timesaviour or Image2Web, where you just click checkboxes and so forth.
All in all an astoundingly high-quality suite of programs. I haven't found any limitations in the free demo, and the purchase price of $38 is extremely reasonable.
