Version: JetAudio Basic 6.2.6
"Free version will only convert 30 seconds of video"
Pros: Nothing, it is not useful for the purpose I downloaded it.
Cons: I downloaded this to convert one video format to another, but with this free version, which apparently has 'no limitations', it will only convert 30 seconds of video! After that, it says you have to visit their website to buy the full version. Having spent 10 minutes downloading and installing this program, I am very disappointed.
In addition, the interface is not easy to use, and the menus and help have clearly been written by someone whose first language is not English

To say "it is not useful for the purpose I downloaded it" is not helpful to anyone. This program wasn't offered FOR YOUR SPECIFIC PURPOSE!!! It was offered as a general media player. Think before you write.

Hey there. i was just about to download JetAudio for the same reason, because my new camera videos, I am not able to use them in window movie maker. Soo i was wondering if you found a good video converter?

What do I expect for free? I expect the product description to be accurate, that's all. It's their choice if they want to have these limitations. All I was asking for is an accurate description. If you look at the product details, under 'Limitations', it says 'No limitations'. That's simply not true. Many people will download it, believing that description to be accurate, and I am helping others so that they don't have to waste their time, like I did.

I'm glad that you pointed out the video conversion limitation. I was going to download it for the purpose of converting wmv files to avi. If this limitation is not changed then CNET should correct the product description.

I too would like to convert between video formats (AVI and WMP to JPG, for example). Have you found any freeware that allows conversion of more than 30 seconds of video?

If the comments by jekamo is true I hope that when I try to do any conversion this defect will be remedied. With regard to the second item it will be great if it can be further improved to make this really already superb system even better and truly user friendly
