I downloaded this specifically to be able to convert into MP3, or to be able to reduce MP3 bitrate, and the program will do neither. The software does not support MP3 as an output format for either ripping or file conversion.

I did not give it a fair test. Once I found it could not play an AVI file without stuttering plus how much memory it took up I cut it from my system
Cons
There are too many good players available to put up with a system hog. When Jet first came out it was slim, trim and ran like a dream.

This Player is just outstanding, there is nothing like it in my opinion. I am a musician and have my own multimedia studio. I have to have a multi/media player,burner,encoder that works first time everytime. It is fast and smooth. And with the new media window in version 7 I'm sold. I love it and everything about it. I am glad that the basic version is free because I would have to buy it. In play back just open the reverb gate slightly for a sweet sound that just shimmers across you music. I think Jet Audio should be included with every computer. Someone, some folks really did a job on this media player. Music Match has found its match and windows player is slow and sluggish. What I really like about Jet Audio, is that it does not crowd you, it lets you be the boss. Radio is great. All funstions work to perfection. First class all the way. Thats nice!
Cons
The only thing that I would change about the Jet is this...I would like to see the player face reach all the way across the screen, and the media window able to come right up in under it. Maybe it does I have not tried that yet.

Admittedly, I am no cyber wunderkind, but that's what makes Jet Audio so appealing to me.
It's flexibility, options and ease of use make it a delicious way to view my videos and play my audio files.
I have it combined with G-Force AVS for an even more satisfying audio experience.
Cons
I have not yet found a way to make Jet Audio my default multimedia player and THAT is what what would make it perfect for me.

JetAudio's usual very fast, clean product - very very good sound, close to if not as good as XMPlay. Lovely interface.
Excellent new 'Media Center' - library, radio tuner, playlist manager, all sorts of options. Very nice to use.
Cons
Little or no support available yet - JetAudio 7 is a complex bit of software, and while most things are intuitive, a bit of help would save a lot of time!
