Pros
Fast, light, and the sound is just plain wonderful. Best EQ anywhere, and neat touches like bass expansion and surround support. Nice interface, and if you don't happen to like it, lots of free skins available. 'Toolbar mode' is by far the best space-saving type effort, much better than WMP or Winamps mimi-player modes. Huge list of supported file types. Superbly implemented 'jump to file' feature.
That llama had better watch his a**!

Slightly weird (but effective, one you're used to it) playlist handling.
No real media library - should you like those things...

It'd be nice to be able to actually convert a file, as they say in the product description. It shouldn't show up at all in "free" licencse programs, the free version is basically a 16mb teaser that tells you what you can do, but doesn't LET you do anything. (10 seconds recording? NO converting files?) What's the point? I can read all about it on the paid versions website or dl.com.

"A very very difficult program"

I downloaded this program to burn mp3's to CDs and that is the only thing it is good for.
Cons
When I was finished with this program and I went to uninstall it, It informed me that it was unavailable, ***?!?! When I attempted to uninstall it again, a windows xp pop-up appeared and said Setup.exe has crashed, and this is the error I kept getting. I couldn't uninstall it with an uninstaller and I got little relief from their customer support

You really should not state that the free download version has no limitations.
I wanted to convert 1 WMV file to MP3 format
and found that it would only convert the first 30 seconds.
And to add insult to injury the normal uninstallers would not remove it from the system. I had to use the McAfee uninstaller prog. to get rid of it.
I am not impressed.

It's just one of the best players I've ever seen. Video conversion a little tricky, but works well! Design, features and speed is very good.
Cons
Why do they call this product "free"? Of course you don't have to pay for it - as long as you don't need to convert video files longer than 30 secs! Other people call this a "trial version". Good software should be paid for, right, but if you call it "free", it should be free and fully featured, otherwise this is just a bad marketing trick. Because of that only 4 of 5 stars for it...

I've been using Jetaudio for the past year or more. I hated how much space WMP took and real and quicktime just didn't suite me. I love that the videos you are watching can stay on top of all of your other applications, so I can still look up something quickly and have my video play in the corner. Also, when you are creating your playlists, you can link to a folder which is great since I catagorize all my music into folders. It can play, just about every type of file, and it doesn't take up alot of memory.
Cons
This is trivial, but the new tray icon looks like a microwave and it bothers me, I liked the previous one more so.

"The Best Music Manager On The Web"

This product has one of the most attractive interfaces of just about any program in its category. The sound quality is superb. This program has replaced Winamp on my machine, thanks to the well designed music management feature.
Cons
As stated before, the video conversion is somewhat limited unless you want to buy the upgrade. But if you do want the upgrade, you can buy them just one at a time instead of paying a full program update.
