During installation, you have to be careful if you don't want to set JetAudio Basic as the default application for audio and video files. However, the freeware application gives you plenty of reasons to make it your only player.
The interface has a modern design that looks like an equalizer. You can customize each section of the program, from CD ripping to format conversion, to your heart's content. The program can convert files among some a number of formats, as well as read and edit MP3 tags. The built-in Cross-fader, Reverb, and Wide-sound modes provide a nice touch not found in most MP3 players. The program becomes truly unique with its clock, however, which features a timer and an alarm. We also appreciate the inclusion of a tool for seeking out song lyrics.
Our only quibble is it treats a playlist as an album but uses the artist as its primary key field, making it difficult to locate mixes. JetAudio Basic's appealing product set should attract audiophiles.

"Fully featured, stable, and great value."
Pros: Can modify playback pitch or speed, can easily repeat sections, backup a few seconds upon unpausing, has playlist and albums, equalizer, lyrics display, and plays any DVD. I'm sure I left out some things. And the price is right.
Cons: Free version cannot rip to MP3.

Pros: Nice interface
Cons: VLC media player and K-lite media codec pack both have more versatility as far as actually playing media is concerned, and both have more codecs for playing different formats. This is also a much bigger download and uses up more system resources. What you get with JetAudio is the same as Windows media player. a player with the bare essentials as far as playing media is concerned, and focuses more on the look. It's good if you want that sort of thing, but if you're like me, you'll want something you can do more with rather than enjoy looking at. I know that JetAudio gives you the option to burn and rip CDs, but there are separate more feature-rich programs you can get for that too. I've never understood why some programs try to do a little bit of everything when it's surely better to have individual programs that do a lot of one thing.

"Definitely The Best Audio Player For Your PC"
Pros: Jetaudio Is The Best Audio Player I Have Ever Used, Plays Almost Every Media File Extension And You Can Convert Video Files And Audio Files To Other File Extensions. Of Course You Can Do All The Normal Things Like Burn CDs, Rip CDs, Edit Your Files And High Quality Playback. This Is The VLC Of Music Players(Meaning You Can Play Almost Every Single Audio File).
Cons: The Default Skin Is Not That Good, But You Can Go To The Website And Download Some Alternatives.
