The Jade Integrated Development Environment is an entry-level but very powerful integrated development environment, which provides a GUI for the most important tools of the SUN JDK in order to ease the editing of source code, the compilation of Java classes, and the execution of a Java application or a Java applet. JadeIDE provides productivity features that allow you to generate individual (project-specific) code templates. This includes the generation of dialog windows using AWT or Swing APIs. JadeIDE supports static code checking via JiveLint from Sureshot and entry-level debugging functions. New in this version: Invocation of UMLet - a UML-Editor provided by the Vienna University of Technology. Significantly enhanced support for JavaDoc.
