Pros
I've used both the online and desktop version of JPEG Cruncher and found both to be excellent tools for reducing the size of JPEGs for web use and email. GIF Cruncher is also a great tool, but doesn't seem to have been upgraded in awhile

Summary
The crunch that is does gives you more than one choice to really allow you to save space on your web pages without giving up a quality picture. It works quickly, to the point and just like it claims. I suggest everyone try it, especially if you are on a free site and have limited space.

Summary
Tested software with bitmap 3.5mb crunch down to 148kb in jpeg format. test 2 jpeg image 171.kb crunch to 60% = 44.8kb with no loss of quality. As a web builder i highly recomend this software.
