Version: JPEGCompress 2.7
"A very usefull tool. The best freeware program I've ever found!"
Pros: It really helps save space and it seems that the compression is lossless up to around 50% compression. I don't know what the real stats are but even printing a 4x6 from a compressed image looks good. No spyware or other malcode and the company that owns this is excellent about answering questions and helping.
Cons: I've had to down-load and re-install it 3 times but the company that desined this program have been right there to help figure it out. Pretty good for free!

Version: JPEGCompress 2.6.1
Pros: I needed a simple program to compress my jpegs for my web site. This program worked perfectly and took no time to learn to use. It gives you a lot of control over just how much you want to compress an image. I got a jpeg to about half its orginal file size with virtually no noticable loss in quality. Thank you to the makers of this free program, you guys rock.
Cons: Only tiny thing I didn't like is that it didn't remember where I saved my first file to so I had to click through folders again when I saved a second image.

Version: JPEGCompress 2.8.2
Pros: This software is very easy to use and it works perfectly nice. It is compitable with all Widows versions. I feel so good to using this software.
Cons: It's options are limited but what more we want if a software of its ilk can compress any image in a very short time than many options?

Version: JPEGCompress 2.7
Pros: It's simple, flexible to use, goes right to do its compression function and it's truely free. I would not mind paying for it since it does not play the game of bait and switch and it works great.
Unlike other "free" software that leads one to install and does not work until you register.
