Version: JAlbum 7.1
"Disappointed :("
Pros: It's free and is probably a great program for advanced users.
Cons: After reading all the rave reviews, I was quite disappointed in this program.
I hate to criticize a free program, especially one that's involved as this one, but I'm afraid I didn't like it.
I am not a novice computer user, in fact, I used to do web design, but I found this program hard to use and figure out. The drop down menus aren't obvious in what the terms mean and what the functions do. And the drop and drag didn't work.
The help section on their web site was not helpful either. The information was presented in a complicated fashion and I wasn't able to resolve any of my problems.
I tried to be patient and play with the program, but after several hours of frustration and producing nothing, I uninstalled the program.

From the very first time I used this program I found it easy to use and intuitive. There are MANY skins and many options within those skins. I can see how some of these might confuse a casual user. The newest version is faster and even better.
