Pros
Extremely stable code generation. No code is hidden or obfuscated from the developer and you can easily go in and customize all of it. The code is generated using the best possible practices and is very readable.
Cons
There is a small learning curve but that's reasonable to expect out of any product. This is not a Visual Studio replacement and it was not intended to be. Keep expectations realistic and make use of the free 14-day trial.
Summary
I'm a freelance software developer and I use Ironspeed frequently as in internal tool to build customer tracking systems, document repositories and other CMS related content. I have also demonstrated the effectiveness of this product to my customers and based upon that merit alone they've bought copies. It's a great tool for rapid web application development. The nice thing is it's constantly evolving and adding new features. This tool is an asset to just about any business. Aspects that make this product unique are that you get 100% access to non-obfuscated code. Customize it, change it do whatever you want with the generated system. There's an extensive help framework that can be downloaded, accessed by very active forums and registered users get support with most licenses.
