"This one is on all of my computers"
Pros
Opens quickly, and works as fast as it opens. For doing everyday things on my computer, this is the image manipulator to have. It's not as powerful as the high dollar image editors, but when you just want to do quick little adjustments and additions to optical disk printing applications or turning those clipping tool captures into graphics you can use on little projects, Irfanview has been my goto application for many years, now.
Cons
No cons at all, for me. Don't use it for jobs it wasn't intended to do, and you'll never have a con, as well. It won't replace Photoshop, but not having to wait for PS to load up the libraries and power tools has its benefits as well. Yes, I'm impatient.
Summary
It's the little graphic/photo application that you'll use every day, if you just think about all the things it does... and there's a lot of things it will do... just open the paint dialog and see what I mean... and that's not the half of it.
