Version: IrfanView 4.2
"I like this program BUT it has a keylogger!"
Pros: Good for what it does...
Cons: ...but its just not worth the keylogger thats embedded in it. I disabled the keylogger with Agnitum and the program ran fine but its just not worth it to me

I also have used Irfanview for several years. You'll find no keylogger lurking in it. I agree with other posters. You've likely already had the keylogger.

Agnitum makes a software firewall. I didn't care for their firewall to be honest when I tried it. ZoneAlarm is much better. Yes, it's naggy but I want to know everything relating to what is coming in and out of my network. As for a comment about Irfanview, what keylogger are you talking about blackurbanite? I've used Irfanview for a couple years and found it to be completely safe. I only use it mainly to resize pictures. I suspect you had a trojan horse on your system when installing Irfanview, the trojan probably corrupted and or infected some of the Irfanview files.

Never had a problem with Irfanview, it's a pretty trusted program. Unlike Agnitum, which I've never heard of.

yes i have used this program for many years and it does not contane a keylogger or virus
most likely you got infected with a trojan and it infected this file . . . in the last months or couple of weeks did your anti virus program find a trojan ? if not perhaps try a trojan horse remover as many anti virus programs are not to good at finding trojans
good luck and take care

Agnitum?! Never heard of it! I'd be more suspicious of Agnitum myself.

I also have been using IrfanView for years, and have never heard of it containing any malware. It's a good possibility that the Agnitum software is designed to find problems that aren't there.

I've been using IrfanView for over 6 years, and have scanned my entire system many many times, I have never seen anything lurking in IrfanView. I trust it completely.
