I've been using this program since it first came out and I absolutely depend on it. The new version (as always) is better than the previous version. No disappointments with this program, as there often are with a lot of software updates.

"The Greatest Tool"

A hard working tool that stays up with the times and the advent of new file apps. It's my first choice when something comes up that my PC won't open. I also use it for special apps and am still learning more about it the more familiar I get with it.
Cons
I don't have any. This tool is limited only by my own inabilities.

Easy to use, wide range of functions. So far, it's been pretty intuitive to use.
Cons
Wide range of fucntions takes a while to figure out. Like most software, I'm probably using about 2% of IrfanView's capabilities, but I find that whenever I come up with a new problem involving image files, IrfanView has a way to deal with it.

I can do a lot of things with this that I used to do with my early version of photoshop elements.
My old P.Elements is no longer compatible and I can't afford to upgrade so this will do nicely. -
