What's fast, friendly and versatile? This baby has most image viewing options and features I want. The fourth version is the best so far if the speed issue can be set aside but the competitions aren't any faster with half as as many niceties!

What people do not realize is that Irfan is not only an image viewer. It is a multimedia player, image manipulator, screen saver maker, and so many other things in one.

Ifranview is very simple to use but best of all it gives you a lot of options as to what to do with your images. As an added bonus you can transfer your image to an external editor on the off chance Irfanview cant perform the task you require.
Cons
Only a fool would complain about a free image viewer with this much to offer!

Comparing to other similar image viewers out there, it has support for a lot more formats and has great features. I like the batch rename/conversion

This is quite a nice and versatile program, you can open nearly any image formats as well as some videos/sound formats. Still, it has some decent editing features to go along with it, such as a slideshow, batch/convert, few special effects, cut/crop, numerous hotkeys, etc. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a solid-featured and versatile image viewer.
Cons
Could use more organizing feature like faststone or Xnview, , but it's probably good enough as it is now.

Pros
I have a collection of images the boss wants printed with filenames. Tried any number of applications before finding Irfanview; the 'thumbnails' satellite application comes and saves the day!

It's all good; nothing I don't like.
