The program has so many amazing features that I have only begun to experience everything IrFan View has to offer. So far, I have used it to sort my photos and add dates and reference notes in various colors and fonts to them. I really like the thumbnail manipulation tool that allows me to switch back and forth between programs to see what is happening and to figure out which feature needs to be modified.
For the more advanced users; there are ways to really alter the images for better clarity and maximum exposure. I have not reached that level of yet.Cons
I was a bit surprised how many programs / processes were overtaken in my computer by IrFan View. Once I installed it, the next thing I knew, everything was coming up w/this symbol. Then, I learned how to control it and I was more comfortable in how to manipulate the program and it's many features. Also, some tutorials would be nice on how to use the program and what they mean would be great for someone not as familiar with the photo editing software and jargon as others. This seems like a very professional and advanced tool.

IrFan View is an amazing professional photo editing tool that produces quality images with multiple features and platforms. Overall, I would say that for the price (Free.99) this is an amazing piece of software that can do spectacular things to help sort, edit, and manipulate images for anyone that ranges from a novice to an expert in photo / image editing. I've been very pleased with Irfan View and I've been using it quite extensively for my holiday photo projects that I'm upload to Snapfish.

Every form of image manipulation you need short of Photoshop is here, image quality resizing, cropping, conversion to every format you can think of, special effects as well as batch file processing so you can manipulate large numbers of images easily. It has it all.

Thinking... still thinking... sorry, I tried to honestly come up with something but I just can't. There's nothing bad that I can come up with about this.
Summary
This is one of those programs that you simply can't do without. It's one of the first programs I install when I do a fresh install of Windows and that I use on a daily basis, more than any other utility. This is a musty have, it does everything you need in basic image manipulation, as well as quite a few advanced functions. Definitely MUCH more than just an image viewer, although as a view it is fast and simple with very little clutter.
