Invoice Organizer Pro is a database program that allows users to keep track of customer information, products, and invoicing. Although the program works fine, it's unattractive and confusing, and we can't really come up with any reason to choose it over another program. At its heart it's just a database, and there's very little about it that's specific to invoicing or conducive to managing this task.
The program's interface looks very dated; it's reminiscent of Windows 95. Not surprisingly, it's not particularly intuitive, and in general its layout feels somewhat cluttered and clunky. To its credit, the program opens with a brief explanation of its features, but this doesn't make up for the fact that it's way more complicated than it needs to be. The program offers four different database templates for users to choose from--customer, products, invoices, and billed items--and a separate, included program, called Designer, allows users to edit templates and create new ones. The built-in Help file is well-written. Although there is nothing functionally wrong with Invoice Organizer Pro, we just don't really see the point. The interface isn't pleasing to the modern eye, and there are a lot of other invoicing programs out there that are easier to use and nicer to look at.
Invoice Organizer Pro installs desktop icons without asking and leaves a folder behind upon removal. We recommend this program with reservations; it works, but there are definitely better alternatives.
