"Not user friendly, loads of problems, IE 6 was better"
Windows Firewall doesn't lik4 IE7, so they fight and IE7 isn't allowed to access the internet. I had to clean my system with "Advanced System Care" , download a new copy of Zone Alarm, turn off Windows Firewall, and IE7 finally worked....for now
So many programs depend on Internet Explorer, it seems like a necessary evil. I absolutely need it to run many programs. I finally figured out that my Windows Firewall was causing all the problems with Internet Explorer 7, so I cleaned up my computer with a program called Advanced System Care that I downloaded from this site, ran diagnostics and maintenance, downloaded Zone Alarm, had that up and running, then turned off Windows Firewall. Lo and behold, Internet Explorer now works! AT least it does...for now. Tomorrow...who knows?I've been using Mozilla Firefox and Flock browsers for mainstream web surfing, and only use Internet Explorer if I ABSOLUTELY have to. Flock is Mozilla browser geared more toward social networking sites like MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, and Pownce but also geared toward Picture hosting sites like Flickr. I prefer Flock overall.
