"A Huge Improvement"
Version: Internet Explorer 9.0.3
Pros
- Faster than previous versions
- Minimalistic UI, Simple To access anything
- Tracking ProtectionCons
- No Sync Feature
- Add ons practically non-existent
- No Customisation
- Still Lagging behind in HTML5Summary
Microsoft has finally focused on IE, in doing so, they have greatly improved the browser. IE9 is faster and far better looking than previous versions. There is can be improvements though, a Sync feature similar to firefox and chrome is needed, while Ie9 still has little to no add ons and customisation. And while they have improve web standards support, they still lag behind in HTML5.

"Another Microsoft Product I Actually Like"
Version: Internet Explorer 9.0.3
Pros
Blazing speed makes after-market browsers hide under their desks.
Cons
It has the Microsoft name.
Summary
Another Microsoft product that works. Guess Bill Gates found a fix-it guy cheap.
I've never see speed like this IE9 has! Interface is a Chrome clone. This is THE net browser. Sorry, XP users, you need to upgrade. -
"keeps changing my default settings"
Version: Internet Explorer 9.0.3
Pros
it's fast ..
Cons
after two days using it, have decided to go to Chrome. It's getting tiring constantly resetting my home page and other items every time the computer is turned on
Summary
Dosen't matter if it's IE or Win 7, seems to me that MS is always trying to play catch-up but you can't survive on 'hail Mary's'

"Good but lacks a lot of simple features"
Version: Internet Explorer 9.0.3
Pros
Very fast - with no add ons loaded
tabbed bar is smaller increasing the browser window area
(tabbed bar can be moved below address bar by right clicking)
Resolution is very good, text size appears smaller and slightly crisper than other browsers
About all I can think of when compared to other browsersCons
No spell checker - Google chrome has this as standard
No ad block - Chrome has this
Essentially interface ripped straight from chrome
Still has handling issues of some websites (compatibility mode???)
Why is IE the only browser that requires this mode?? It clearly is not necessary? (still bloated a bit?)
Still causing me a headache when I have to write code for websites.
W3 standards exist for a reasons Microsoft! either you've got it wrong or all of the other competing browsers have it wrong.Summary
I would happily use this browser, however since switching to Chrome I have never looked back due to it's features and apps.
I have used Firefox, Opera, Safari, IE7,8,9. IE9 is the quickest but only if it is not customized by the user. This is why I prefer Chrome because after customization it still runs quickly. -
"Not bad at all"
Version: Internet Explorer 9.0.3
Pros
Fairly responsive, simple,pretty common.
Cons
search is a little awkward
Summary
The first good browser by Microsoft! Congrats!
-
"Very awkward; forced to keep it due to MS's lies."
Version: Internet Explorer 9.0.3
Pros
Perhaps it was faster; I didn't really notice. Nice and sleek looking, though.
Cons
-The way it works with google searchbar
-Difficult to make bookmarked buttons
-Tabs are placed to the LEFT of the address bar (***) thus, giving you less space for multiple tabs
-Downloading this is a one-way track: hard to revert if you change your mind.Summary
This is an awkward review because some of my troubles come from how IE9 works with the google searchbar addon. So I'm not sure who to blame, I just know this addon works better with 8 in comparison to 9.
In IE9, the searchbar will not only make a dropdown of search suggestions, but will replace what page you had in front of you before you even hit enter. Not so bad; but, when I go to right click a result, I do not get a "open in new tab" option. I get a "open in new window" option; yet, even if I click that, it still only opens the result in the same window. To get my "new tab/window" option I have to go to google.com's homepage, thus, rendering the searchbar addon pointless.
In IE9, I could not figure out how to make buttons on the top of the window for my few favorite sites; in IE8 it was easy.
Now this... is the worst feature of IE9:
It forces you to keep it and prevents you from reverting to 8! Unless you know how to work around that.
When I got tired of 9, I went to DL 8 again, but got a messages saying that 8 was incompatible with Windows 7. That was odd, because I KNOW I was using an earlier IE version on my Win7 system before I went to IE9. It seems that message was on outright LIE; because most Win7 OS's come with IE8. In order to revert, you have to view a list of your system's updates and remove the IE9 update; this will make it go back to IE8.
This is too much of a round-a-bout method for reverting since most people won't know how to do it. And I'm insulted by how MS tries to force you to keep IE9 once you get it by lying about IE8's compatibility.
--------------------------------------------------
In short, the awkwardness associated with google's searchbar may be Google's fault, but I know the same issue does not occor with IE8.
What's most annoying is how DLing IE9 is like a one-way track: MS tries to force you to keep it once you have it by giving blatantly incorrect info stating that IE8 can not be used on Win7.
The other IE's are fine: this one was horrible. -
"I'd rather use Mosaic 3 than infernal exploder"
Version: Internet Explorer 9.0.3
Pros
Well...it starts.
Cons
Only a thousand characters? It's not enough to list them.
Summary
Ever since spyglass became infernal exploder 3, Microshaft's web louser has always been one generation behind other browsers, and this is no different. Exploder is always the last to innovate, stealing from other browser makers and putting out third-rate crashfests with security holes.
Yes, I've tried it, on a computer at work. No, I would never infect my computer with Microshaft's virusware.
