"I don't like this browser."
Version: Internet Explorer 7
Pros
It has tabbed browsing antiphishing filter and is a bit more secure than Internet Explorer 6. And has RSS feeds to read news and has a better zoom feature.
Cons
This browser uses too much memory and makes it open very slow. The interface is poorly designed and hard to navigate. Also this browser is not customizable. If you are using Opera or Firefox stick with those browsers.

"Microsoft gave up the fight"
Version: Internet Explorer 7
Pros
Better security
Cons
Far less toolbar functionaity than IE6 ! No native form fill capability. Reduced options. Very limited add-on seletion and no notice on which are shareware.
Summary
I am sorry, but IE8 has me thinking that Microsoft isn't even serious about their browser anymore. I've read so many complaints, even at the Microsoft Newsgroups, about the lack of toolbar functionality in IE7 (and 8.2 beta), complaints as far back as 2006.
With IE6 I could move the address toolbar right to the last three-quarters of the File Menu, both toolbars on one line, saving valuable desktop real estate. Now they even have the Home button separated, way over on the right hand side of the screen on a different toolbar altogether. Go figure.
And the complete lack of FORM FILL capability! I can get that feature on most any other browser, even on China's nice "TheWorld" browser auto fill works superbly (!), but might Micrsoft can't even offer it on Internet Explorer!
Then you go to the Internet Explorer add-on page - you download 3 or 4 and then find out with no prior warning that some are shareware.
Doesn't anyone at Microsoft really carefully analyze Firefox to see what all the fuss is about and why Firefox is catching up? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. Use the two side by side for a month, and it's obvious.
It seems that Microsoft doesn't even care anymore. I see the complaints all over the web, why aren't they listening? -
"Not as bad as people say"
Version: Internet Explorer 7
Pros
Just an average browser
Cons
Just an average browser
Summary
I've seen reviews saying how bad it is but really it's just an average browser without anything special. I wouldn't recommend switching to this from a different good browser (firefox, chrome, opera, safari) but it's not all that bad either.

"Not user friendly, loads of problems, IE 6 was better"
Version: Internet Explorer 7
Pros
Tabbed browsing.
Cons
Windows Firewall doesn't lik4 IE7, so they fight and IE7 isn't allowed to access the internet. I had to clean my system with "Advanced System Care" , download a new copy of Zone Alarm, turn off Windows Firewall, and IE7 finally worked....for now
Summary
So many programs depend on Internet Explorer, it seems like a necessary evil. I absolutely need it to run many programs. I finally figured out that my Windows Firewall was causing all the problems with Internet Explorer 7, so I cleaned up my computer with a program called Advanced System Care that I downloaded from this site, ran diagnostics and maintenance, downloaded Zone Alarm, had that up and running, then turned off Windows Firewall. Lo and behold, Internet Explorer now works! AT least it does...for now. Tomorrow...who knows?
I've been using Mozilla Firefox and Flock browsers for mainstream web surfing, and only use Internet Explorer if I ABSOLUTELY have to. Flock is Mozilla browser geared more toward social networking sites like MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, and Pownce but also geared toward Picture hosting sites like Flickr. I prefer Flock overall.

"Internet EXPLODER!"
Version: Internet Explorer 7
Pros
tabbed browsing, eye candy
Cons
terrible security, slow internet, activex controls,
Summary
My computer was getting bombarded with spyware from Internet Explorer, even though they say it has good security. My computer has gotten attacked by several viruses, spyware through Internet Explorer. I have spent hundreds of dollars because of vrus removals and I didn't know it was internet explorer's fault. My uncle which is a computer proffesor basically told me that Internet Explorer sucks, and that is a problem. He reccommended to me to download Firefox, which saved my computer.
I do not reccommend you use Internet Explorer, even if Microsoft says it has strong security.
