    "Unable to use it!"

    December 5, 2011  |   By Pilm99

    Version: Internet Explorer 9

    Pros

    None for those with XP!

    Cons

Unable to use it with XP, so I'll stay with FireFox (IE8 isn't an option, since, as the above review says, it sucks)! So it's true, Microsoft is forcing the issue, and for me, that means sticking with FireFox!

    Summary

Microsoft has forced me to use FireFox.

    Not very custimizable>

"One of the best browsers out there! Fantastic!"

    November 19, 2011  |   By pcwiz11

    Version: Internet Explorer 9

    Pros

Fast, Free, Nice interface, Pin websites to the taskbar

    Cons

The options dialogue box is outdated and the same as in IE8

    Summary

Microsoft has really improved Internet Explorer. It's gone from being the slowest and worst browser in version 8 to a modern, inovative and fast browser with version 9. I highly recommend Internet Explorer 9.

    "I salute you Microsoft"

    November 19, 2011  |   By G3ar

    Version: Internet Explorer 9

    Pros

IE 9 is just shy of being a successor of a once broken web browser. It has a minimalistic user interface, improved functionality, and loading speeds have greatly increased. Unlike its predecessors, it ceases to crash or cause an unwarranted error.

    Cons

Like I said, it's still "shy" of being a successor: although it has functionality, it certainly isn't customizable. Most add-ons are foreign to the browser subculture. In fact, I doubt they even meet the standard. In comparison to Firefox, you can't configure it internally; in comparison to Chrome, it still paces in overall speed.

    Summary

I never used to look twice at IE when using a web browser. Today I changed my mind. The improvement is promising, and I can already seen many reverted users to a previously busy and dysfunctional web browser. Always be wary of what you use, and stay educated.

Much better than IE8. Fast, secure. Finnaly, the first browser worth using from Microsoft. All other versions were a pain.

    Cons

    It is uncustimizable

    Summary

Finnaly, the first browser worth using from Microsoft. All other versions were a pain.

Most of the Con reviews are fanboys going, "MS IS BS" and stuff like that. Stupid fanboys.

"Much Improved and actually worth using now."

    November 1, 2011  |   By jeffmorse

    Version: Internet Explorer 9

    Pros

    Very fast and stable.

    Cons

GUI is somewhat unintuitive and not especially customizable. Takes a little too much digging to find what you need in options.

    Summary

For the first time in years I can happily use IE. I still prefer the GUI of IE6 to this one, but I can't complain about the speed. If runs off and hides from Opera 11.5 in both interface responsiveness and page loading.

"Give Credit Where Credit Is Due"

    October 16, 2011  |   By Smeaga31

    Version: Internet Explorer 9

    Pros

Fast. Very Customizable. Stable. Has many built in security functions. Has all kinds of cool abilities. Minimalistic appearance (depending on user preferences). Competes well with all major browsers out there. Standard compliant.

    Cons

A large program for a browser (takes some hard drive space compared to competitors). Install can be a little intimidating for novices.

    Summary

I personally love it! It is my default browser. I only download other browsers and try them out because I like to play. I am a freeware junkie and probably always will be. Until IE9 I used firefox. Now you won't find it on my computer. I can't believe some of the negative reviews people give it. It has never crashed on me...NEVER! People use to complain that IE should be more like Opera or Firefox, and now that it is, they still complain. Go figure. Try it and you will find it is easily competitive with anything else out there. Microsoft has finally got it right. I am looking forward to future upgrades. Give credit where credit is due.
