Version: Internet Explorer 8
"Great Improvement worth the download"
Pros: IE8 is obviously more stable and secure than its predecessors. The intellisense on the search bars and the ability to restore your previous browsing sessions (in case you closed it by mistake or after a reboot) make it a must have.
Cons: Wish the browser was more savy with the screen real estate like its competitors Chrome and Safari 4 (beta), that are using the title bar real estate for tabs. Also being able to detach a tab in its onwn window like Chrome woul have been nice.
Summary: More stable and more secure, IE 8 is a great browser. I just wished they got inspiration from their competitors user experiences a little more. But overall, I like it and I don't see the differentiator that would make me want to download another brow... read more

Cons: Slow, unsecured and much much much worst than the current version of Mozilla Firefox!
Summary: Microsoft give us more of the same product! You could compare IE 8.0 to a shoe shine on an very old pair of shoes. My prediction is that IE is going to follow the same destiny that Netscape browser! Only the future will tell but I have that felling a... read more

"Very unstable. Locked up constantly."
Pros: I couldn't find any because I was never able to use it. Every time I tried to open the browser it froze.
Cons: Same as pros
Summary: Would not recommend downloading ths yet. They apparently still have bugs to work out. Three other people in my office downloaded and had the same issue. We all wound up uninstalling and going back to IE 7. read more
