"The basic explorer"
Version: Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1
Pros
Internet Explorer has exactly what you need to surf the web. Not with numerous extensions that makes surfing harder. It's as simpli as can be. The most of programs are compatible.
Cons
It's true that the pages are slower downloaded, it hasn't skins, no spyware-removal.

"Doesn't deserve the bad reputation. Deserves a second chance."
Version: Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1
Pros
-Integrated into copies of Windows, so you don't need to download any additional stuff. =)(Good for new PC users.)
-The ONLY browser that I know of that can load every site I throw at it, 100% of the time. Opera and Firefox sometimes can't load sites as well as Internet Explorer.
-Has plenty of extensions/addons that help offset the negatives about Internet Explorer.
-Able to use the newest versions of Microsoft products(Windows Media Player, etc.) without downloading any fancy addons.
-Good for casual browsing, "casual" meaning you just want to use the internet to go to a few sites, check e-mail, download a few programs, etc.
Cons
-No tabbed browsing.
-Pop-Up Blocker could be better, although it does a perfectly acceptable job right now.
-Same security flaws as the previous version of Internet Explorer, although Microsoft is slowly fixing these.

"Its fine, its a browser, all these complaints need to stop!"
Version: Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1
Pros
Improvements made through I think XP Service Pack 2 are helpful especially for security purposes. It is a fine browser, just like any other. I have had no issues with pop-ups, spyware, etc. I recently installed google toolbar for easy searching purposes and IE still runs normal and efficiently. I have edited the browser (something that opera and firefox do lack a bit) so it looks how I want. I have no issues at all with IE 6, in fact I recently decided to get rid of Firefox, Opera, and Avant because I am going to stand by it.
Cons
Maybe I am at the wrong pages, or the right ones, but I have no issues like many other reviewers do with pop-ups, or spyware, etc. I think it might be a hair slower than say opera which is all about speed, but to say it is slow or unstable seems more like individual computer issues, not IE's fault. I have never had any issues with it crashing or not loading pages or anything of that nature. IE is a fine browser, and if you don't like it there are many others. The browsing world has many options, all are very useful, there is no reason to pick on the bully.

"Internet Explorer 6 is a decent web browser...however needs improvements"
Version: Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1
Pros
The latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 in Windows XP SP 2 is very good. Many of the improvements ain't apparent visually. But the current Internet Explorer 6 browser has a stronger security architecture to help reduce suspicious content, malware attacks & common browser-based exploits. Internet Explorer users has more control over the software they installed on their system, which lowers the chances of malicious softwares been installed into users computers. The latest Internet Explorer 6 over all is a decent web browser with a pop up window blocker, improvement in prevention of URL spoofing, secure download management. I believe many of my cons in latest Internet Explorer 6, will be addressed and fix in Microsoft new Internet Explorer 7 web browser coming out later this year in the new Windows Vista operating system and Windows XP Service Pack 2.
Cons
Although Windows SP 2 dramatically reduced security issues, there are still Internet Explorer 6 security issues since the release of Windows XP SP 2. There's no built in tabbed browsing feature, integrated search bar and RSS in current Internet Explorer 6. Web site phishing blocker not built in to current Internet Explorer 6.

"Not Very Good Internet Broser Package."
Version: Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1
Pros
You can brose the internet.
Cons
It is not very safe. It does not have much to offer. It was very disappointing download.

"No where near as good as some of the other browsers"
Version: Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1
Cons
Very dull, dingy un-effective pop-up blocking, it sometimes runs scripts without your permissions, things in it are easily exploitable. MSN have tried to keep up with other browsers but just can't get anything to work effectively. I recommend going for a better browser such as Mozilla Firefox.
