Version: Internet Download Manager 5.02 build 2
Pros: i downloaded a game file that was going to take 7 hours from gamespot and i have cable, this thing dropped it down to 26 minutes.

Version: Internet Download Manager 5.12 build 7
Pros: This is the very best program I've ever found at download.com in 3 years of visiting this site. It's very fast, easy to use, organized. resumable and safe. I've never downloaded a corrupt file with "IDM" in the year I've owned it. "Tonec" also provides great tech. support. Trust me, I know it to be true. I've lost my registration key on more then one occasion. They responded to me within 24 hours with a replacement every time.
Cons: After using it for a year, no cons.

Pros: It doesn't have to be pretty to be great at what it does & this app surly is just that. GREAT! Media apps should look good, Ashampoo apps look great but theres only a few decent to good ones. To the comment about "the company has closed": It's not! I bought one for my lady the other day & it took less then 10 minutes to get the reg information.
Cons: Cons? There are no cons! This is by far the best download manager I've ever seen, period!

Version: Internet Download Manager 5.11 build 5
Pros: After reading Chainmail2006's review I thought I would give this app a whirl. What an increase in speed! I went from about 300kbs a second which is very fast, to 995kbs! That's a 300 percent increase in download speed! I download a ton of software and IDM helps me do it fast. It downloaded the plugins in all my ,browsers,(Opera, Firefox, Netscape Navigater, and IE7), so no matter which browser I am using at the time of the download, IDM takes over! Try it free for 30 days and experience the increase in download speed!
Cons: Doesn't support Safari browser yet
