"Pure Unmitigated Junk"
Version: Inquisitor 3.2 (v62)
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
What you want it function properly? Forget it! What you want the developer to at least post issues in his useless blog? Forget it!
Useless software...useless developer.
Really, you are seriously wasting your time loading this crap onto your Mac, and then having to find all the pieces to it when you dump it. -
"Nice Add-on"
Version: Inquisitor 3.2 (v58)
Pros
allows you to change the google browser in safari to a yahoo, with many enhancements... it also supports google though, and works with ie and firefox
Cons
highly interactive...which is a good thing but may run slower on older computers
Summary
a great add-on for yahoo and google lovers alike

"Enhancement"
Version: Inquisitor 3.1 (v54)
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Very nice program; and quick, which I thought would be a problem.
And about the sneaking in Amazon links: I don't mind it that much as long as I'm aware that it's first on purpose as an ad. If I'm looking for something else I just press enter and search old fashion way...
Try this program!
It's free... -
"Looks fantastic so far"
Version: Inquisitor 3.0 (v52)
Summary

Two things have proven invaluable to me already:
1. I can customise the search engine in Safari (something that has often forced me to Firefox in the past). Using a USA Google to find Australian shops is a pain in the butt....
2. The search tips provide relevant and useful suggestions.
And the affiliate referencing is subtle too. -

"Now works with Leopard"
Version: Inquisitor 3.0 (v50)

Thank God Inquisitor now works with Leopard. I download and installed the version posted last week and nada. But today...there it was a real working version. I probably use Inquisitor more than any other app I have. Thanks -
"Save hours when searching the Web"
Version: Inquisitor 3.0 (v49)
Summary

Hi, Inquisitor is an absolute dream for me on Tiger. The time it saves is unbelievable. Having previously had AcidSearch installed, this little Mac gem is ten times better and free to boot!!

"Doesn't work under 10,5 Leopard"
Version: Inquisitor 3.0 (v49)
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Emailed the supplier a couple of times, no response. Simply doesn't work under Leopard and as others have pointed out renames folders. Unfortunate, as this is an excellent plugin for Safari and really liked the way it worked under 10.4 Tiger -

Great to see such a quick response by DW, bringing Inquisitor back and running smoothly under the new Mac OS...! :) -
"Works like magic"

It's fast the way Spotlight was supposed to be. Think more like filtering in iTunes.
