You can now create workflows (see Documents menu) that define parameters like renaming options, metadata to assign to documents and a list of logical folders to put the imported documents into. Once you activate a workflow and start the Document Capture function, all importing will be handled in the background and InfoValet will process all the documents you drop in the InfoValet Drop Folder (a single document or an complete multilevel folder structure) according to the rules specified in the workflow
Example: Transfer all the pictures from your last photo shoot from your camera to a folder on your desktop. Give that folder an appropriate name and create more sub folders according to the different topics or subject that are suitable for your pictures. Now create a workflow in InfoValet, specify the renaming options, the metadata (tags) you want to assign to the pictures and the list of Virtual Folders you want your pictures to be stored into. Make that workflow the active workflow and save it. Drag the whole folder with your pictures in the InfoValet Drop Folder and start the Document Capture function. Now sit and relax, InfoValet will do the rest.
