"same thing, different version"
Pros: lots of cute e-mail features for outlook, just like all the other versions. and works seperate from outlook
Cons: and like the other versions em-beds itself like a tick on your system, even the best reg scanner can't pluck it out. has only 2 skins ugly and uglier, must upgrade to get the good ones. luckily it works seperate from outlook.

Version: IncrediMail Xe build 5202469
"IncrediMail is fun, very good and with a free spam filter!"
Pros: I used to use Thunderbird but this email client is much more fun. I went back to use Thunderbird for a while but found it very dull compared to the extremely colourful IncrediMail. There are a lot of funny notifies to choose from. One is a old fashioned English butler that keeps coming up on the desktop each time you have received a mail telling - you have a mail Sir - with an English accent (or Madame if you want to). Quite fun! Extremely funny (and serious) letters, animations, emoticons (smilies) and skins (and nice skins too) to choose from. Some letters are really beautiful. It is very stable. I cannot think of using another email client. This one is the best. You can combine this email client with Cactus Spam Filter. Cactus Spam Filter is very good, free and very stable. It is made to work with IncrediMail and several other email clients as well, and you can download it here at download.com.
I uninstalled IncrediMail once and installed it again and all the letters I had written and received were all there. None were lost! I was glad over this fact. I use the premium version. It works very well with the free antivirus software Avast! Home Edition, which is very good and stable too and you can also download it here at download.com.
I strongly recommend IncrediMail!

Cons: Sometimes when you write an email it, automatically, changes a letter in the middle of a sentence and in the beginning of a word to a capital one. You can change it back but it is annoying!

Version: IncrediMail Xe build 1856
Pros: Vast amount of smileys, easy to use (when it works). Letters are beautiful. Adding background animations is fun, as well as the greetings feature, that lets you send greeting cards from within the program. More email customization features than most others. Nice interface. Ability to download additional content is nice.
Cons: You have to pay for all of the good features. This version is far less stable than previous versions. I hate it. It has bugs left and right. Also, there is no way to do a clean install, since this program does NOT erase all traces of itself on uninstall. That is a very underhanded thing to do. In fact, I wonder if any part of this actually will uninstall. I tried to contact "support" about the problems that I was having with this software, and they have made it near impossible to contact them now. All the website does is tell you that only paying customers receive personal technical support. That means that you are up a creek without a paddle. It did not used to be this bad. I am disappointed that software that used to be good has become so diffucult to use and troubleshoot. Big step backwards with product. I will look for another favorite email program.

Version: IncrediMail Xe build 5202469
Pros: Incredimail used to be the coolest e-mail client out there. It was so good that I actually bought a lifetime subscription to both it and the Letter Creator. It's still a very flashy program, but...
Cons: The developers got real greedy. Incredimail used to have a decent junk mail filter. Then they separated it from the main program and started charging an annual subscription fee for it. What if Microshaft did the same thing with Internet Explorer? There'd be riots in the street!
Then the Incredimail folks have to constantly remind you that you don't have their junk mail filter by assaulting you with their really annoying ads -- even registered users of the main app are not immune!
But you can still have the best of both worlds. Download the full Incredimail program (not the on-line install) from their web site. Then find and download a copy of Incredimail for Office Outlook Add-On (version 1612). This program integrates Incredimail's best features with Office Outlook. It was developed by the Incredimail people themselves and they used to offer it as a free download on their web site. But you can't get it there anymore, since they are so greedy. You can still find it on the net, though.
Install the full Incredimail program and then the Add-On. What you'll end up with is a hybrid application that is basically Outlook -- along with all its great features, such as the junk mail filter -- combined with Incredimail's rich content. It really is the best of both worlds! And there are no annoying ads!
Another tip: Go to Incredimail's web site and download everything from their content Gallery. Do this on a regular basis, because when they add new content, they often move some of their old content to the "Gold" section. It's appropriately named -- you have to part with some of your gold (money) to download it. I have many years worth of Incredimail content on my system that I got for free, but which they now charge for -- a fact that makes my wife and friends quite jealous.
