"Easy to use with a good user interfaace."
Version: IncrediFlash XTreme 4.01
Pros
The program is flexable and allows someone with a little flash experience to develop decent flash banners, buttons, and movies with little effort.
Cons
The templates supplied are not very good, and do not have a qualiy look.
Summary
I downloaded and tested about a dozen flash design programs, all but this left me wanting more flexabiity. This is the program that I bought.

"Very nice product for beginners & experienced users"
Version: IncrediFlash XTreme 3.0 build 3016
Pros
Easy to understand and use interface. Great price. Easy to add mp3 or wav sound effects. Decent selection of text effects and image transitions. Time lines easy to understand.
Cons
I have no complaints about this product.
Summary
This very reasonably priced product is perfect for beginners and even experienced graphic designers. I've been using Incrediflash for almost 2 years and enjoy using it. Just upgraded to ver. 3.0 mostly for the new scrolling background feature. Have created banners and logos for clients using IncrediFlash. Have had zero problems with any of the installations and 3.0 works just fine on my 6 year old XP machine. Have found this product much more versatile than expected.

"Installer contained Generic_Trojan. ."
Version: IncrediFlash XTreme 2.0 build 2004
Pros
? ? ? ? ? ?
Cons
Both Webroot Spysweeper and Trend Micro AntiVirus found a Generic_Trojan in the Installer, it's hard to believe though. I thought this website was safe.

"OK for basic purposes, but flawed for a paid software"
Version: IncrediFlash XTreme 1.2 build 1273
Pros
Easy to use for almost anyone who wants create very basic flash movies to embed into web pages but does not want to learn flash.
Cons
Lacking in features and versatility, and has bugs (even in you final product / moive) that the developer denies or won't address. Poor support from the developer, no support comunity, lame FAQ.
Summary
If this was a free product, there'd be no room to complain and I'd give it a 3 (maybe 3 and a half). However, as a commercial / paid product there becomes reason for my 2 star rating. In this version (1.2) there is a definite bug in your final output when embedding your movie into your page (such as browser status bars indicating that the swf never sompletes loading). Contacting their support (which I wouldn't consider real support) will simply get you an answer that they don't see the problem.
In version 2.0 they improved the interface and some of the program overall, and certain loading issues are fixed, but 2.0 introduces an even more annoying bug. When you import an image into your movie/scene it becomes distorted or blurred showing very poor quality unless the image you import is either the exact height or width in pixels of the overall movie. Yes, even if you know what you're doing and you disable the global compression and set your individual image compressions to the highest quality, they will look terrible in your final swf movie.
Forget about getting any real support in a timely manner, and there is no online community support for you to gain self-help or discuss issues with other users.
Their FAQ is lacking. (For example - it addresses the "blurry image" issue by telling you to disable compression and raise the quality settings in the image compression, which still doesn't help).
If this were a free program, I couldn't complain. But as someone who has coughed up the cash for this version (1.2) and their new version (2.0, in hopes that it really was improved), I wouldn't buy this again. It's fine if you have very simple needs and if you can deal with it's bugs and poor support, but I wouldn't drop the cash for it again. They need to address the very real and very existant problems, rather than acting like any issue is an end-user problem.
Don't expect much once they have your money. -
"IncrediShow 1.0 works until it crashes fatally. Need debug expertise to use this .swf file creation software aka Flash."
Version: IncrediFlash XTreme 1.2 build 1270
Pros
When it worked, I liked the Burns effect within the software. The linear time-line editing is also good.
Cons
Purchased this software to add to my web development toolbox.
I have had a few crashes in six months. But none fatally until recently. Software no longer loads but error screen instead.
Anyhow, more than a week after submitting a technical support by email and online. No word yet?

"Speedy Learning Curve for the Neophyte"
Version: IncrediFlash XTreme 1
Pros
A little bit of everything, including exporting to many different files (e.g., *.swf, *.html, etc) as well as the capability to upload the finished product to my server.
I'm really quite haqppy with this program and LOVE that I can use whatever music I darn well please (even copyrighted materials -- with credit, of course).
A fabulous program for the flash-challenged and very intuitive. I believe it's worth the cost compared to other programs out there and I doubt you will be disappointed.
I do recommend that you use your own *.jpgs and *.gifs as their selection appears a bit limited but I'm also an avid photographer and use a lot of my own work instead of too many graphics/cartoons.
Cons
System crashed once on a very involved animation; still don't know for sure if it was the program or my getting distracted mid-creation. I guess supplied graphics and images could be more sophisticated but otherwise, it's definitely a step up from its competitors.
