Attempted to download this spam filter and error message came up saying "cannot locate Outlook. There is no outlook program for Windows Vista.

Just tested the soft : nothing interesting in it, and the uninstall process was really bad. Had to do it by hand and remove the extend.dat located at C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook to get back my outlook 2003 in normal condition

I've tried quite a few anti-spam programs out and I have to say, InBoxer is preeeety good. Haven't had more than 2 or 3 slip thru, and no legit emails have been classed as spam either.
Cons
Maybe the price could be a little lower? No real cons actually

I have to thank you. I've had my current email address for a LONG time and it is necessary for my business that my personal email is on our website which makes me extremely vulnerable to spam-bots and bulk mailers. Inboxer got 47 spam emails during last night and catches about 3 - 12 an hour throughout the day! InBoxer has never yet misunderstood an email from a client or friend as spam. I'm thrilled. Summary
I've been using Inboxer for a year and have found it to be a great anti-spam tool. When the people at Inboxer emailed me regarding the release of Inboxer 2.0, I was excited to see what improvements had been made. The email stated once you upgrade to 2.0, you have to uninstall it and reinstall 1.x if you wish not to purchase 2.0. They also said they were no longer going to support 1.x, including any further updates or bug fixes. So I downloaded it, and after a 21-day trial and lots of playing around with it, find there to be no difference in performance between 1.x and 2.0. Still the same old text-only menus and configuration screens, something I was hoping they’d have improved on. Still the same spam detection accuracy. As far as I can tell, Inboxer is just milking us registered users – giving us a handful of mediocre features in return for paying 2/3 of the purchase price again. And now that I’ve decided not to buy 2.0, I can’t find the 1.x download link anywhere on their site.

Summary
I was receiving and deleting between 30 and 60 SPAM e-mails every day. Filters on Outlook were overloaded/inefficient. I tried several anti spam products, Mailwasher because it was free (you get what you pay for!), Spam Inspector which didn't ever seem to learn what was spam and Coffee Cup spam Blocker which was OK but I didn't like having to use a seperate process for sorting my mail. Then, I saw in Personal Computer World Magazine here in the UK that InBoxer won Editor's Choice, Best Buy and 5 stars overall. Then I tried InBoxer ....WOW .... easy to set up and within minutes I was correctly filtering SPAM. Now after only a few days, the accuracy is 95% plus and rising. I didn't even wait to the end of the trial, I registered it then end there.
