Version: IconPackager 4.2
"Easy way to customise your desktop"
Pros: Nice and simple. Download - load icon set - click - it's done.
Cons: Well, you have to pay after the trial period; but if you like to change icons a lot, why not?
Summary: I wanted to refresh my desktop a little, and after installing a new theme the icons looked a little...dated? Iconpackager solved this in moments, along with a free icon download (thank you Vishal). Good software if this is what you want to do. I'm very pleased with the results.
Updated on May 26, 2009OK, be aware that when the trial period runs out, paying for this otherwise great package is NOT straightforward. I have had to install some kind of download software and create an account. I take GRAVE exception to this. I would rather pay more than be asked to faff around in this way. So be warned fellow downloaders - and take note, Stardock. This happy customer is now much less happy.
