Version: IconPackager 4.1
Pros: This is an excellent program. The real culprit is Windows.
Cons: Can be frustrating with some icons reverting back to the default ones. Also, as the last reviewer says, it is capable of crashing explorer.exe
Summary: The cons about the program can be read all over the internet. But, the real culprit is windows and not iconpackager itself. For instance, if you search for "explorer.exe crashing" you will easily find that there is hardly a program in the world that ... read more

"bad reviews, group icon in lieu of individual"
Pros: Couldn't tell if there were any--refused to get involved after download-immediately uninstalled.
Cons: Didn't bother--it couldn't do what I wanted-- individual icon changes.
Summary: Trials should be identified as trial offers, not for free... read more

"Good but guilty of omissions in "Limitations" field."
Pros: Great - for a limited time I can try out all those cool Stardock and WinCustomize Icon Packs I've been salivating over.
Cons: Recoloring appears to be disabled, as does using the Icon tab added to a file's Properties. And several other limitations not reported.
Summary: So... There's a lot you can do with this for the trial period, but I really wish Stardock had been up-front about how many and which features are broken for the trial version.Hardly seems like I'm really getting an opportunity to get to know the pro... read more
