Version: IconCool Icon Editor 4.86.51115
"Icon Cool is Absolutely Terrible"
Pros: Liked? Nothing!
Cons: It's totally dependent on Photoshop to get the real work done. It can't seem to do anything other than supply the user with an impressive user interface. Maybe, they should've spent more time on making a usable product, and less on trying to impress us with useless features. I can't recall the last time I used ANY product that was totally this useless??? From the vectors being uncontrollable, to a pen that's just as bad... and directions, they give plenty in the help file, but none of them will do you much good. Save yourself a long and useless read - in the help file of this useless program, and instead find another of the many products that can convert an image to an icon for you, because that's all this one really does. To download.com: Please offer us a NO-STAR Rating, because it really bothered me having to give it 1 so I could get my message posted.

The following is our reply:
1. All of the icon software maybe depend on Photoshop more or less. It is impossible for the software which costs less than $20 to up to the functions the same as Photoshop.
2. Icon edition bases on pixel as everyone knows. It's impossible also unfair to desire a software which costs
less than $20 to support vector.
3. The download num that more than 1,000 in our main site(iconcool.com) everyday and total 300,000 from download.com can show IconCool Icon Editor is a popular and admired software.
4. It is the icon software which adopted image filter functions and achieve the function that image gradient by just dragging and dropping mouse earliest. All of these make IconCool Icon Editor become the imitated one on the icon software filed.
As the developer, we are consummating it endlessly. We don't think this user evaluate fairly or we can say this user
only use our IconCool Icon Editor partly.
