"Useless Software... and not freeware as well!"
Version: ISO Burner 6.4
Pros
Nothing I've liked of this software.
Cons
Basically I've liked nothing of the few functions I've been able to try...
Summary
Just few hours after the installation a message saying that my "free trial period of 7 days was expired" appeared and I have not had the possibility to proceed with any ISO copy or burning any longer. Furthermore this software cannot be removed with an uninstaller or from the control panel as well... total garbage!

"DO NOT INSTALL THIS SOFTWARE!!!"
Version: ISO Burner 5.8
Pros
If i absolutely must list a pro to give this rating, I guess it would have to be ease of installation.
Cons
ISO burn functionality failed and it corrupted my operating system.
Summary
I installed this under XP with SP3, selected a drive with a disk to create an ISO from, gave a file name to burn to then got the error - "at least one file should be selected" constantly. After trying this over and over, it stopped giving the error but then went to a "not responding" state for several minutes and I finally had to "end task". I tried this again and again but it would not work at all. Last, IT WOULD NOT LET ME UNINSTALL IT!!!!! I received an "access denied" error when I tried. Windows Add/Remove programs just shows "Change" under the app name - no "uninstall". When I click change, the exact message reads "An error occurred while trying to remove ISO burner v5.8. You do not have access to. You can specify the new uninstall program below" and it gave a Browse button. I tried browsing to the installation folder in Program Files but could not find any "uninstall" link. I then tried Windows System Restore but now, System Restore will no longer work! What do I do??? Reinstall my OS??? Whatever the case, my Windows OS is now stuck with this software installed and refuses to use ANY of my system restore points. CNET should remove this completely from thier site so that nobody else gets into the same state. Now, I will reinstall my operating system so that my System Restore will work again. My rating for this software is a 5 - BELOW ZERO. :-(
OK...here's the update. After some thought, I browsed to the folder at "c:\Program Files\ISO Burner and within this, I found a link called "Unwise.exe".....LOL - how ironic. Anyway, I ran the file and it uninstalled the application. Once completed, I just had to try System Restore again to see if the ISO Burner installation was the issue and guess what......System Restore worked perfectly. Thus, this software's installation process kills Windows System restore. Do yourself a favor. Pass this one by and try something else.
