Use it. It is free, and does pop up with warnings quite often. If you are a light weight tech person, you want easy. Else you will be paying some tech to fix and tell you to use these proactive tools.

"Excellent Product...and FREE..."
Version: IObit Malware Fighter 1.3
Pros
Everything about this, for me,is great.I have the full version and it sits quietly in the background doing its thing.
For quite some time now I have been using this and was running it at the time with comodo internet security ( full version ) and didn't even know it was there.I had problems with Comodo which I had been running for 3 years it seemed to go in to paranoid mode and everything was blocked out even my internet connection.I managed to resolve the problem by removing Comodo from my laptop and I purchased Bullguard internet security instead.as I was online downloading my internet security IObit Malware actually kicked in and was working doing what I paid it to do and just on the strength of that I recommend using this I will go as far to say that it is worth parting with your hard earned for.Cons
None that I have noticed.
Summary
To summarize this I will say that this this is a great little piece of software that sits quietly doing its job and leaving the user without any concerns.I have tried many different versions of malware fighters and quite a few of them were heavy and bulky and put some considerable drag on my laptop, this however,in my opinion is better than most of the others if not all.Try it out for free and if you like it then I suggest buying it and it is available now at a reduced rate and as well as securing your P.C/Laptop you can save Dollar too.

"Better than nothing, but dubious at best..."
Version: IObit Malware Fighter 1.3
Pros
-Nice modern interface.
-Automatic cloud computing technology with heuristic analyzing mechanics.
-Light on resources.
-Paid PRO version adds several active protection features, including Startup, Network, Process, Cookie, USB, and more.Cons
-Dubious database with a lot of false positives.
-Slow database updating.
-Effectiveness of the cloud is unknown.
-Paid PRO active protection is also affected by the false positives, can block vital processes causing system errors and crashes.Summary
Of course any protection is better than no protection, but I have used this on and off since beta, and I have had nothing but problems with it.
With so many other alternatives out there, you might be better off looking elsewhere for your protection. -

"Gives Added Peace of Mind"
Version: IObit Malware Fighter 1.3
Pros
Runs in real time (rare for freeware); doesn't conflict with my other security programs; Network guard seems particularly effective & is one of the main reasons I'm re-installing it; it's free and you can't have too much protection these days. Also, it's fairly light on system resources.
Cons
Scans don't seem to be particularly deep-it doesn't catch as much stuff as my other programs (although, it'll catch adware in real-time,as opposed to having to scan for it); occasional false positives; could update more frequently; I'm still a little nebulous about the efficacy of it's "Cloud-based protection" without knowing more about how it works.
Summary
I've used this program in the past and found it to be fairly lightweight, rather more like anti-spyware than anti-malware, so I'm not uninstalling Malwarebytes anytime soon. As I recall, I dropped it when I was going through a "data-mining paranoia" phase, as you really can't tell what kinds of data it's uploading, but that's true of many programs and often it's ultimately beneficial to the end-user. That having been said, what I really like about this program is the above-mentioned Network Guard, which works as well as Threatfire's, sometimes even better, it's light hit on resources (I can imagine a rockin' mobile version), and the way it plays extremely well with my other programs (for example it's Startup Guard doesn't interfere with Spybot S&D's similar feature, etc.).For those curious, I'm currently running Avast free, MBAM, Threatfire (level 4), Comodo Firewall (proactive mode), & a couple of anti-spyware programs on my 2 Windows 7, 64 bit, SP1 systems. As security programs go, Iobit Malware Fighter 1.3 isn't a heavy hitter and there's certainly room for improvement, but it provides a nice extra layer of protection without a lot of hassel.

"Works out of the box as it says on the box!"
Version: IObit Malware Fighter 1.3
Pros
Running alongside virus etc. scanner - no interference detected.
Cons

"Good Product For Additional Security..."
Version: IObit Malware Fighter 1.3
Pros
-scans are fast
-Good Protection
-uses little resources on computer (less than 5,000k)Cons
-send definition updates more often besides like once in like 3 days (but i understand that iobit has other products to be in top shape with)
- free version needs process guard (most malware run with a process so with iobit havind that on both version it can detect more viruses)
-This also concerns me is its cloud protection, right now the threats it found (this number will change) is 2,807 threats, aint there like thousands of threats in the internet, any way ...
- Iobit Cloud needs to be improved..
But anyway with these changes and improvements that need to be made, this program is still very good...
