Version: ICQ 6
"Crashed"
Pros: It looked "pretty" nice bright colors and other features, the nicest looking IM i've ever seen...
Cons: ...but it crashed! A lot! When I removed it I had to hunt down lots (and lots!) of things, such as jpeg icons - still left in! if you do remove it I recommend a good "hunt" for the things it leaves behind.

did you use the uninstaller it came with?

first, uninstall it at the control panel(add and remove programs for XP ,and programs and features for Vista).next,go to the file C:/ program files(or any where you installed it) remove any leftovers and also remove from start button.after your search, go to the recycle bid and delete them(how the computer deletes files is by "chopping" them up and throwing them around the place.)

Wow! It doesn't sound good for a mutt like me ... but if I do go ahead and then have to hunt for the scraps left behind, can you advise me how to go about it? TIA
