    "The Perfect Choice"

    May 9, 2004  |

    Version: Hotmail Popper 3.0.2

    Summary

This program is the perfect choice for anyone who uses hotmail and AIM services. Once Hotmail popper is installed and configured, AIM can be configured to Check your hotmail accounts. This gives the user verbal as well as visual e-mail confirmation without having to log onto their POP3 client. Configuration can be tricky, so check out the help screens. The simple programs are usually the best. My thanks to the development team.

"FINALLY, a way to make Hotmail work with Outlook POP3!!"

    February 7, 2004  |

    Version: Hotmail Popper 3.0.2

    Summary

After MONTHS of looking, I've finally found a way to read my Hotmail using POP3 in Outlook! "Hotmail Popper" does a great job with this. In case you don't know, in Outlook 2002, Microsoft allows you to check your Hotmail, but it's HTML-based. "Hotmail Popper" pulls in emails from your Hotmail accounts and places those emails into your Inbox as if it were POP3. It works just as if Outlook downloaded your email from you local ISPs POP3 acct. In fact, once you've downloaded the Hotmail emails into your Outlook Inbox, "Hotmail Popper" then "deletes" the Hotmail email by placing those downloaded emails into your Hotmail trash. I can't believe the idiots at MSN or Microsoft haven't figured out a way to do all of this. I'm sure they have -- they'd just rather FORCE you to look at Hotmail via HTML so you have to see their advertising. "Hotmail Popper" could be a little easier to set up (you have to set up your POP3 accts in Outlook manually). But once you do, "Hotmail Popper" works like a champ and multiple Hotmail accounts. As a tip to users, I recommend to go one step further and use the Outlook "Rules Wizard" to automatically move your Hotmail emails that are from different Hotmail accounts into folders you specify under the Inbox. That way itÂ’s easier to figure out which email account youÂ’ve downloaded. Again, "Hotmail Popper" works great. ItÂ’s worth every penny for heavy Hotmail users.

But only for Hotmail. How about Yahoo! Works with Mozilla, just use the instructions for the latest Netscape.
