Designed by a physician, Hospital Patient Database is a set of templates for HanDBase that enable easy tracking of important hospital patient data such as diagnoses, daily charges, ICD-9 codes, medications, and procedures with a handheld computer using the Palm OS. Included in the registered version is an ICD-9 database with approximately 1500 common codes/diagnoses that can easily be accessed and inserted into your patient''s database. Data can be exported to MemoPad and, after hotsynching, can be modified and/or printed from your desktop MemoPad program (or from the Notes folder of Outlook if you are configured to synchronize with MS Outlook). A comprehensive manual in HTML format is included that will enable you to get comfortable with using the templates very rapidly. Hospital Patient Database is ideal for Internal Medicine physicians but would also be useful for Family Practice physicians and many subspecialists. The demo version has limited data in the template databases. The registered version contains the full databases. Free updates are available to registered users.
