    "DOES NOT WORK ! ! PERIOD ! ! ! ! !"

by gbjennings on September 5, 2005

Pros: Nothing, now that it has shifted from Freeware to Shareware.

Cons: It was bad enough when this application was FREE and did not work. Now they want you to pay $40 to see that it STILL DOES NOT WORK ! ! ! MANY users are getting the same error - try to start a Data or an Audio burn and nothing happens. No window - nothing. Blank screen. And HONESTech does not seem to be interested in fixing it. I have given up on then.

"this is poorly explained & doesnt work"

by chainsore on January 11, 2006

Pros: 30 day trial is good.

Cons: very poor explinations of what the different formats are eg video cd? super video cd? what are they? took 2 hours to burn a full 4.7gb disk of avi video files but the disk then wont play on my dvd player, honestech needs far more detail to explain does it change file formats form avi/mpeg etc to something a noraml dvd player will play? christ if u want us to buy this at least bother to explain it in depth to us!

"TO GET BETTER YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT"

by littlefred on June 29, 2005

Pros: Faster than Nero, without the burn errors. Flawless audio discs. And fast, about same speed as 'Burn At Once' Easy to use.

Have not burned DVD yet, but initial test shows, again, unlike Nero, it will burn all of my Video files.

Have not yet discovered any Spyware.

Cons: Perhaps just my paranoia; I believe that when something seems too good to be true, it usually is. That essentially, the term 'Freeware' is an oxymoron; these people are in business, not running a public service.--- In the HUNDREDS of programmes I have tested, I have found maybe 20 which have no nasties of some kind----so, Use this one by all means, but do take care.

Pros: Very easy to navigate, I suppose.

Cons: Very unprofessional. Freezes up continuously.

    "Not Able to Install"

by jcbiffis on July 9, 2005

Pros: Sounds like a great program

Cons: Half of the people can't install it, myself included. Does the author or who ever even read this to see what the problem is?
