    "Does what it says...nothing special"

Pros: For everyone that keeps saying it is a virus...learn what you're talking about. Anti-Virus software is going to recognize this as a virus because it is a keylogger! You are installing a keylogger onto your computer, so of course it's going to recognize it as something that you don't want. What do you think a virus is? Sometimes it's someone putting a keylogger onto your own computer. This time you're doing it yourself...it's just doing it's job and telling you that a keylogger was installed.....that doesn't make the program a "virus" and mean that you should delete it.

Well, for one this product is commercial spyware. According to spywareguide.com:

    Full Name:

    Home Keylogger

    Type: Commercial Monitoring Software

    Created by: KMiNT21 Software

    SG Index: 5 [Explain]

Removal tools: List of products that detect/remove/protect against Home Keylogger:

    # Pro User: X-Cleaner

    # IM - P2P Security Appliance: RTGuardian

    # Regulatory Compliance: Greynet Enterprise Manager

Category Description: Programs designed to monitor user activity. May be used with or without consent. Because it is sold commercially, many anti-virus vendors do not detect them. The most common form of a commercial monitoring tool comes in the form of a keystroke logger, which intercepts keystrokes from the keyboard and records them in a log. This can then be sent to whoever installed the software, or keylogger, onto the machine. Some Commercial Monitoring Software may take screenshots, or video and send the information to an outbound connection.

Official Description: Home Keylogger is intended for interception and recording in a file of everything that is entered from the keyboard. Keylogger is able to work in the hidden mode and to emerge on pressing a combination of keys.

    # Properties: Autostarts/Stays Resident

    # Logs keystrokes

    # Stealth Tactics

IT HAS A THREAT LEVEL OF FIVE, which means that it is hard to remove downloads and installs other applications, has the ability to phone home information.

Even though others say that this is safe IT'S NOT! Novice users may say, "oh, your anti-virus software is just doing its job, but this is completely safe". IT'S NOT!

Also, if your anti-virus doesn't say that this is unsafe, that is because it is sold commercially, so some anti-virus softwares do not detect them. Reply to this message, if you want, but take it form a senior IT consultant, DON'T DOWNLOAD!
