It found viruses/trojans/malware etc. that other programs couldn't detect. Easy to manage the scan and perform actions to remove bad files.
Cons
It almost indicated too many files as suspicious, but it was simple to ignore those.

Yes, as in the 2nd user review below, Hitman Pro 3 also fixed the Google Search Redirect virus in my computer. It also fixed the problem of my computer's constant crash 1 min after an error message popped up "Windows must now restart because the DCOM Server process launcher service terminated unexpectedly"

Found and fixed the Google Redirect Virus on my laptop.
Completed the scan in under 10 minutes while some of the other scans I prevuously ran took 2-3 hours and still could not find the virus.Cons

Summary
Yesterday I noticed a problem with my old laptop (WinXP Pro). When I would click on a search result I was redirected to bogus ad sites. I did some reseach on the web and it sounded like I had picked up something called the "Google Redirect Virus" though it also impacted search results from Yahoo! as well. I ran a full Norton 360 virus scan and it detected nothing. I also ran the MS Malicious Software Removal Tool and Malabytes Malware Removal program with the same results - nothing found. I kept resarching various forums and saw that some folks had successfully removed this virus using Hitman Pro 3.5. I found it at CNET Downloads and noticed that it had recently been updated to remove the virus in question. So I downloaded, installed, and ran it. Success! So far it appears to have fixed the problem. It looks like a system file called atapi.sys had been infected and was causing the problem. Bottom line is that this application found and fixed a problem that three other anti-virus/malware programs could not.

1. A-Squared and Prevx shouldn't be one of those scan engines; they produce way too many false positives...
2. NOT FREE for removal, but for advanced users who knows how to really USE a computer, they can get rid of most infections manually.Summary
We don't have many cloud antivirus in the market but Hitman Pro is one and which sadly, melachupan does not appreciate at all. Hitman Pro runs well with existing antivirus so we don't really have to make it our primary antivirus scanner. Perfect for using it as a sidekick to double-check your PC for potential infection.
